The Journey of DJ G-A-Z

DJ G-A-Z is an Urban DJ of multi-national origin based in the North West of England. He started DJ-ing and performing at the age of 16 and from the age of 21 started to focus his efforts on fully establishing himself in the music industry.

Within the past 4 years he has gone from strength to strength – from having 2 FM radio shows to the creation of his own media platform and website Not only has DJ G-A-Z built a strong online brand, he has also been playing out across the UK DJ-ing various concerts, club nights and live music events. He has performed as a support act for US Rappers The Game, Tyga, French Montana and The Lox along with UK Rappers including Dizzee Rascal, Kano, Wretch 32 and Stormzy.

In 2015 DJ G-A-Z co-founded and became the official DJ for his own music festival The Urban Weekender. In the same year DJ G-A-Z orchestrated and spun on Tim Westwood TV for Liverpool rapper Aystar’s Crib Session, also becoming Aystar’s Official Dj. The session became an instant hit reaching over a quarter of a million plus views independently – this also led to DJ G-A-Z receiving a big co-sign from the big dawg himself.

In July 2016 DJ G-A-Z signed his first TV deal with network “That’s TV” channel number 7 on freeview across the North West soon to expand throughout the country. The show is a music based program with live interviews and also exclusive footage from DJ G-A-Z performing at different events around the country (usually with a celebrity or two in attendance). GazTheDj show gets aired out every Sunday evening at 18:30-19:00pm and so far the reaction has been great even though its still very early days!

Having achieved so much in just a few, short years, it will be exciting to see what the future holds for DJ G-A-Z.
